We had to start the New Year with a trip to the beach. Natasha, Kostya, Tatiana and I drove to a beach they hadn’t been to before. Our friends Dannie, Greg and Elo had the same idea, so we met at Maraetai Beach. A hundred or more people had the same idea. It took a little while to find parking, but there was still plenty of room on the beach. Auckland weather was not in our favor, it rained for five minutes then came out sunny for fifteen minutes, then rained again. it continued that cycle until we left and headed home.
The weather didnt stop us having fun in the water and playing badminton on the beach.
