A hard day

This morning we woke not wanting to get out of bed. We eventually dragged ourselves out of bed and out on deck. Lowered the boarding ladder and plunged into the cool clear water. After swimming it was time for coffee and toast for breakfast. We had time to read before I put on my wetsuit top gloves and fins. with a scraper I swam around the boat cleaning some of the barnacles off the hull. Then it was time for a coffee on the back deck in the warmth of the sun.

Resting in the sun took up the rest of the morning, leaving us no choice but to have lunch in the sun. Relaxing and reading, consumed the entire afternoon. This only left us with a couple of hours for wine and snacks before dinner. I cooked Pork chops in apple sauce with boiled potatoes glazed with butter and mushrooms in a sauce. Its a tough life living on a boat!

While we were having wine we could see the yacht that was on the rocks being towed along the beach to the boat ramp and then cut into pieces and loaded onto a truck. Very sad.
