We were up early to get ready for our trip south. We went into town and bought what we needed. A composting toilet, camp chairs, Groceries’ and fuel.
Then we had a problem. We had put 100ltrs of fuel in the Ranger but the fuel gauge still showed low on fuel. As we drove around the fuel gauge should we were using lots of fuel and it got down to 2%, so I called Ford. They asked us to rush it into them and they would have a look. I was worried that the computer would see no fuel and shut down the car, Ford checked it out and said they will have to replace the fuel sensor. They would have to order it. They assured us that the car would not stop because the fuel sensor was faulty.
So we took the Ranger and set off south. Our first stop was Surfers Paradise where we had lunch.
We found a nice camp ground before night fall where we stayed the night. It was on the banks of a river. the swim was nice after a long day.
