Friends & Family

With everything still damp from the night’s rain, we packed up and headed around Sydney toward a friend’s place in the southern suburbs. Gordon and Daina had their family home full for Easter, so the house was buzzing with people — and then there were the two of us, happily adding to the chaos. We set up camp in the driveway, our little tent tucked between cars and garden beds.

The evening unfolded the way good reunions always do: drinks in hand, stories flowing, and laughter rising as we remembered the ridiculous things we got up to in our youth. The rain was long forgotten by then, replaced by the easy comfort of old friendships.
