Beach drive

We headed north to spend the day on the beach at the top of the Sunshine Coast. Just north of Noosa is a beach the stretches all the way to Double Island Point and Rainbow Beach. When we reached the beach the tyres had to be deflated. This gives more surface area gripping the sand and helps to stop you sinking into the soft sand and getting Bogged (getting stuck). we drove along the white sandy beach for a few kilometers stopping serveral times for a swim.

After spending a couple of hours on the beach we decided to head back. We had only traveled a kilometer along the sandy beach when we came across a young lady trying to dig her car out of the sand. Lucky for her we had a set of Maxtrax with us (boards to go under the tyers to help get you out of trouble). We helped her get out of trouble five times on the two kilometer trip off the beach and back to the road. The last time another guy came and helped.
