We went to Brisbane to have a look around. The inner city is similar to other cities, but has a lot of ferries running up, down and across the river. A beautiful Botanical Gardens next to the CBD where you can enjoy lunch. This is where Tatiana saw her first Bearded Dragon (medium size lizard).
Across the river from the CBD is Southbank, a park and manmade sandy beach and pool. We spent a couple of hour cooling off in the pool. Brisbane’s South Bank Parklands officially opened to the public on June 20 1992, transformed from the site of the successful World Expo 88, which ran in 1988.
